Ironman® I-370 Receives SmartWay® Verification

Aggressive pattern and verification a win-win for dealers

FINDLAY, OHIO, March 4, 2015 – Hercules® Tire is pleased to announce that the Ironman I-370 EcoFT™ open shoulder drive tire has been SmartWay verified for low rolling resistance, as part of the EPA’s SmartWay technology program. Characterized by a deep, aggressive tread that delivers long mileage and resists irregular wear, the I-370 also features siped tread blocks for assured traction in almost any weather condition.

“Many of our customers have not previously enjoyed access to such an aggressive open shoulder drive pattern in a premier brand,” said Pat Tripp, director of TBR product and purchasing for Hercules Tire. “So being able to offer them not only the I-370 EcoFT pattern, but a SmartWay verified I-370 EcoFT, is a significant step.”

The Ironman I-370 EcoFT is part of the full Ironman I-Series line-up of medium truck tires and is available in the following sizes: 11R22.5/16 148/145L; 11R24.5/16 149/146L; 295/75R22.5/14 144/141L; and 285/75R24.5/14 144/141L.
